Mattia Destro was greeted by 400 supporters upon arriving to Bologna, where he claimed he was 'very happy' to be there.
The striker took what many saw as a step down in his career by joining the Felsinei after his spells with Roma and Milan, but his mood seems to be positive.
According to La Gazzetta dello Sport, the 24-year-old was greeted by a crowd of over 400 supporters at the train station and had to make his way through them.
“I didn't expect such a warm welcome,” he confessed. “I'm very happy to be here!”
Bologna also welcomed Serie B assist-man Filippo Falco from Lecce.
“It's a dream to be wearing such important colours,” he declared.
“I can play as an offensive midfielder and as a striker.”
