The Bianconeri are chasing a trequartista, and have agreed personal terms with the German international, though their first offer to his club was turned down.

Schalke sporting director Horst Heldt warned today that the Old Lady must move quickly if they wish to make another bid, and it appears the Turin giants have done just that.

Tuttosport reports that a new bid of €18m has been submitted for Draxler, with another €9m in bonuses linked to appearances and results on the pitch.

Gazzetta dello Sport also believes a new offer has been made, but reports a €20m fee, with another €10m in bonuses if the 21-year-old meets appearance targets for the next three years.

A number of injuries have limited Draxler’s playing time over the last two seasons, so Juve are keen to only pay the full price if he stays injury-free.

Gazzetta reports that the new offer has not been well-received by the German side, who are looking for €30m up-front, but, as the player wants to leave, the bid will be considered.
