Inter target Thiago Motta is close to renewing his Paris Saint-Germain contract, according to reports in France.
The Italian international has been linked with the Nerazzurri all summer, after his agent declared he wanted to leave the Parisian side.
However, RMC Sport is now reporting that Motta is on the verge of signing a one-year contract extension with the Ligue 1 club, on an increased salary.
The player’s current deal expires next summer, and his current wage is also one of the lowest of PSG’s senior squad members.
Le Parisien reported this week that Motta earns around €530,000 per month, while Blaise Matuidi and Javier Pastore earn closer to €800,000, with Zlatan Ibrahimovic taking home €1.35m per month.
