Diego Capel says at his Genoa presentation that he wants to match the achievements of Diego Milito and Diego Perotti at the club.
The winger signed from Sporting CP earlier this week and spoke of his appreciation for Coach Gian Piero Gasperini, who he is at ‘the complete disposal’ of.
“I’m looking to match the great goals that [Diego] Milito and Perotti reached,” Capel said during the Press conference for his unveiling.
“I know that they have done very well and I hope to do the same.
“As for my role, I’ve played on both the right and the left and I’m at the complete disposal of the Coach.
“My characteristics? I don’t like to describe myself, I prefer to do my talking on the pitch.
“Yes, I'm ready, I've only been here for a few days and I need to adapt, but this is the right environment to do it in the best way and I’m ready to make sacrifices.
“Gasperini? I like his way of coaching, he has now created confidence and that will only improve with time.”
