Lucas Biglia, Federico Marchetti and Miroslav Klose are amongst the absentees from Lazio's squad to face Bayer Leverkusen tomorrow.

The Aquile travel to Germany for the second leg of their Champions League play-off with a slender 1-0 lead from the first tie at the Stadio Olimpico.

However, they have been struck by injuries to key players as Biglia and Klose both have muscular problems, while goalkeeper Marchetti hasn't recovered from breaking his ribs.

Striker Filip Djordjevic is also on the injury list for the Biancocelesti, although Stefan Radu returns from suspension.

Should they qualify, it will be the first time the capital club have reached the Champions League group stages in eight years.
