The FIGC has announced it will hear Catania’s appeal against demotion to Lega Pro on Thursday.
The Elefanti have been demoted from Serie B and slapped with a 12-point penalty after a match-fixing scandal, but are appealing the ruling.
In a Press release on the FIGC website, the federation has announced it will hear Catania’s appeal on August 27 at 14.30 in Rome.
Teramo and Savona have been demoted to Serie D, the highest amateur level, and their appeal will be heard together that 16.00 local time.
The Lega Pro fixtures are due to be announced on Thursday, meaning the appeals must be heard quickly.
