Sunderland have officially signed Fabio Borini from Liverpool, beating Inter to his signature.

The Nerazzurri were believed to be considering the forward as an alternative to Sampdoria striker Eder, but he has joined the Black Cats on a four-year deal.

“Sunderland are delighted to announce the signing of Fabio Borini from Liverpool for an undisclosed fee,” the Premier League side confirmed on their official website.”

Borini also gave his opinions on the move, as he returns to the club he spent the 2013-14 season on loan with.
