Lazio have reportedly offered midfielder Lucas Biglia a new contract until 2020 after multiple offers by other clubs during the summer.

The Argentine was the object of a siege as the Biancocelesti were targeted by a variety of great clubs to sign the player, including Manchester United's reported offer of €27m.

Now President Claudio Lotito is looking to place a lock on the player with a new contract.

Now President Claudio Lotito is looking to place a lock on the player with a new contract.

According to the Corriere della Sera, the new deal would bump up Biglia's salary to €2.5m a year from the current €1.4m, and would bind the player to the club until 2020.
