Inter boss Roberto Mancini is the highest-paid Coach in Serie A, but Milan are paying three different tacticians.

La Gazzetta dello Sport held an investigation into the expenditure of the Italian top flight clubs.

They found that Mancini is the Coach with the biggest wages, earning €4m per season net plus performance-related bonuses.

That is the same sum earned by Italy manager Antonio Conte, although the Azzurri contract is partly paid for by sponsors Puma.

A problem for Inter is that they are still paying sacked boss Walter Mazzarri €3.5m per year.

Milan have an even worse situation thanks to a series of early dismissals and ending rapports on bad terms.

Sinisa Mihajlovic gets €2m per year, but Pippo Inzaghi (€1.5m) and Clarence Seedorf (€2.4m) are still on the payroll.

Max Allegri won the Double last term and reached the Champions League Final, but he is paid €3.5m per season by Juventus.

Fiorentina are continuing to pay Vincenzo Montella €1.4m after he was fired this summer, on top of the €1m to Paulo Sousa.

Maurizio Sarri is saving Napoli a huge chunk of change compared to Rafa Benitez’s wages, earning just €0.8m per year – that's less than Beppe Iachini gets at Palermo.

Sampdoria give Walter Zenga even less, €700,000, but Empoli Coach Marco Giampaolo is the lowest earner in Serie A on just €200,000 per year.
