‘City important test for Pogba’

Paul Pogba needs to set an example against Manchester City and fulfil his potential, according to Fabio Capello.

The French midfielder is set to start when Juventus take on the Citizens in the Champions League opener tomorrow evening.

Former Bianconeri Coach Capello believes it’s time for Pogba to step up, and thinks Alvaro Morata has huge potential.

“Now Pogba needs to do something important, he has the potential to be a super player but, with the steering wheel in his hands, he must show that he can drive,” he told Tuttosport.

“The match against Man City will be an important test for him.

“Morata is a quality player and he creates problems for the opposition with his pace. He still needs to fully mature but he could become a great striker.

“Mandzukic didn’t make the difference at Bayern Munich. In Serie A he will shift the balance of games, but in Europe it’s a little harder.

“Dybala has imagination, dribbling ability and a dangerous left foot but he needs time.

“Allegri is an experienced Coach and he knows that seasons of transition don’t exist at Juventus.”
