Fredy Guarin insists Juventus ‘are favourites for the title’ despite Inter’s three wins from three.
The Bianconeri have taken just one point in Serie A so far, and as a result are eight points adrift of the Beneamata.
However, speaking at an Expo event, the Colombian midfielder insists the Old Lady are still the team to beat.
“Juventus are the champions of Italy,” Guarin reminded reporters.
“They are favourites for the title. We all know their ability and their ambitions.
“We hope to have a good season. We’ve only just started, we’ve played three games, but we hope to continue like this.”
Guarin is the player most used by Roberto Mancini since he returned to the club last season, and the midfielder is glad of the consistency.
“Everyone is always ready to play. The idea is for everyone to be at 100 per cent, and then he [Mancini] can see the players he has available.
“Mancini has given me consistency, you have to give a player a chance to show what he can do. It’s a sign of responsibility to always be on the pitch.”
