Eusebio Di Francesco refused to let Sassuolo rest on their laurels after flying into third place with a win at Palermo.

Along with leaders Inter, the Neroverdi are the only unbeaten side remaining in Serie A this season.

“It was an important performance, quite aside from what the table says at this stage,” the Coach told Rai Sport.

“It’s right to ride the wave of enthusiasm, but we must immediately start thinking about the next match with Chievo.

“There will be time eventually to smile, but we must always focus on the next step, although obviously deep down it’s only natural I’d be happy with this start.

“Domenico Berardi will be ready to start on Sunday, as he had to be introduced slowly after a serious injury.

“The key to Sassuolo’s success is hard work every day, following a project and knowing that even when we change players, everyone steps up to the plate.”
