Nemanja Vidic could leave Inter for President Erick Thohir’s MLS team, DC United, according to reports in Serbia.
The defender is out of action until Christmas after surgery on a hernia, and has failed to settle in Serie A since arriving last summer.
According to Radio Televizija BN, Nerazzurri President Erick Thohir could look to resolve the situation by giving Vidic an MLS escape route.
The Serbian international is tied to the Beneamata until June, with the option to renew for another year, but could instead terminate that deal to join DC United, also part-owned by Thohir.
Such a deal would represent a good solution for both sides, with Inter saving on Vidic’s wages, and DC United getting a high-profile signing.
