It’s reported Francesco Totti will be out for a month after he was diagnosed with a thigh strain.
The Roma captain went off just six minutes after stepping on to the field in yesterday’s 5-1 win over Carpi.
There were fears he could be out for two months, but Sky Sport Italia report today’s medical tests were more reassuring.
It is a lesion to the right thigh muscle, the same spot where Totti still has a scar from a similar injury two years ago.
This is not a good way to celebrate, as today is his 39th birthday.
