Barcelona’s international sporting director denies reports Martin Montoya could return from Inter in January.
The full-back joined the Nerazzurri on loan this summer, but has so far not made a single appearance for Roberto Mancini’s side.
With the club’s sporting director Piero Ausilio heading to Catalonia this week, there has been speculation the 24-year-old could return in Janaury, but Ariedo Braida denies those rumours.
“I don’t think his trip has to do with the transfer market,” he told FCInterNews.
“He’ll come and watch the games we wants. As for Montoya and his alleged difficulties at Inter, frankly I have no idea.
“Firstly, it’s too early to talk about it, September isn’t even over yet. But I can say that this is a ‘hoax’.”
