“At the end we struggled and did not control the game well, especially when against nine men. We still have a lot of work to do, but tonight we had many young players and it was normal to have difficulty,” Biglia told Mediaset Premium.

“We are missing something to be at our best, but we saw the character and strength of this squad in difficult moments.

“Now we’ll try to get the injured players back and rediscover the Lazio of last season. After three games in seven days I am a little tired, but I want to play and help the team.

“These are the victories that boost our confidence.”
