Beppe Iachini remains confident Palermo will get back on track after a fourth consecutive defeat to Roma.

The Sicilians were 3-0 down, but fought back for 3-2 until eventually capitulating 4-2.

“We continue to work, knowing that some of our players still need to reach their peak form,” the Coach told Rai Sport.

“Today we had three opportunities to equalise and were unable to finish them, although we faced a squad with so much quality.

“In the second half we believed in the comeback and in terms of effort could not have done more. At the moment we are unfortunately paying for the slightest error.

“I am convinced we’ll get back to doing what we did before.”

The fans are with Iachini, holding up a banner urging President Maurizio Zamparini not to sack their Coach.
