Jose Mourinho praises Fiorentina Coach Paulo Sousa: 'He was humble and only came to Serie A when he was ready'.
The Portuguese Coach became famous in Italy for winning the triplete with Inter, the combination of Scudetto, Champions League and Coppa Italia, but he is struggling with Chelsea at the moment.
“I don't know what's wrong, the results with Chelsea at the moment are really negative,” he told La Gazzetta dello Sport, as he currently sits at sixteenth in the English Premier League.
“I can't and I won't hide the truth, and I struggle to find an explanation.
“But I can assure you that I'm working like never before, and we'll get out of it.”
Mou then discussed another Portuguese Coach in Serie A, Paulo Sousa.
“Paulo is great, I'm happy for him. He worked a lot and he worked hard to get this far.
“There are coaches who started right off from great clubs, without making fundamental experiences.
“He on the other hand was humble, he journeyed and worked in Hungary, Israel, in the English second division [the Championship], in Switzerland.
“Only now that he is ready and prepared he came to Italy.
“He studies, he keeps himself informed. You can see his imprint in the current Fiorentina.”
