President Aurelio De Laurentiis is reported to have called Azzurri Coach Antonio Conte to protest harshly against injured Lorenzo Insigne's training.
The Napoli patron said yesterday in the evening that he did not pressure the national team for the player's return, after injury forced the star away from the Azzurri.
However emerging reports suggest otherwise. Today's edition of the Corriere dello Sport relates that De Laurentiis called Enrico Castellacci, the Italy doctor, and then Conte himself.
The President is believed to have protested against the player being made to train on Monday, in spite of the knocks he had taken the day before at San Siro against Milan.
