FIFA President Sepp Blatter is appealing against a 90-day suspension by the organisation.

The Ethics Committee of world football’s governing body opted to suspend the Swiss this week, as he’s being investigated as part of a corruption probe.

“He has appealed. He wants to go on until the congress on Feb. 26 and he is not giving up early,” Blatter’s friend and occasional spokesman Klaus Stoehlker told Reuters.
