“Alvaro Morata will not travel to Ukraine after taking a blow to his right leg,” read a statement on the Spanish Football Federation website.

“[The RFEF] has also contacted the medical services of Juventus, although the extent of his injury is pending further tests [on Saturday].”

According to Sky Sport Italia, Morata is feeling much better this morning and is optimistic over his chances of being fit to face Inter next weekend.

It’s believed to be just a heavy bruise to his right calf muscle.
