Iago Falque believes “the best football in Italy is played by Roma” but admits the defence must improve.
The Spaniard joined the Giallorossi from Genoa this summer, and has two assists and a goal in his six Serie A appearances so far.
“The best football in Italy is played by Roma,” Calque declared in an interview with Sky.
“The great chemistry I have with [Lucas] Digne allows me to get a lot of crosses in. I’ve only scored one goal so far, but that happened at Genoa, and in the end I got 13.
“I get better in the second half of the season, so I’ll do even better with Roma in the coming months.
“We need to improve our balance, because we can’t always score four goals to win. We need to improve at the back.
“I work for the team as a winger, but all us attacking players have to be good at doubling up, and making the difference.”
