Josip Ilicic admits “Napoli played better than Fiorentina,” but still expects an impressive Serie A season.

“It’s a shame about the defeat, as it was a tough game and I’m sorry to have made that mistake,” Ilicic told reporters.

“The assist for Nikola Kalinic was just my duty. Napoli played better than Fiorentina and scored two goals, so they deserved the win.
“We go forward along our path and I am sure it will continue to be a great season. I expect lots of teams will be fighting it out to the end.”
