Barcelona sporting director Ariedo Braida reportedly watched Sime Vrsaljko for Sassuolo against Lazio, with Juventus also keen.
Braida was spotted in the Mapei Stadium stands during the Neroverdi’s 2-1 win on Sunday, and reports suggest the Croatian full-back is being lined up as an alternative to Dani Alves at Camp Nou.
Calciomercato.com writes today that the Blaugrana director, who was also believed to be monitoring Lazio’s Felipe Anderson and Sassuolo’s Domenico Berardi, could attempt a move in the summer.
The website believes that the Catalan giants have been tracking Vrsaljko since his time at Dinamo Zagreb and are poised to swoop in the summer.
However, Juventus are also reportedly interested in the 23-year-old and are believed to be in a commanding position for his signature given their established working relationship with the club.
