Jonathan Calleri had been on the verge of a move to Palermo this summer, but Inter are reportedly going for the Boca Juniors striker.

The forward was tipped to be the heir to Paulo Dybala at the Stadio Barbera and there were advanced negotiations.

According to Argentine newspaper Olé, Inter have set their sights on Calleri for the January transfer window.

They face competition from the likes of Monaco, Arsenal, Stoke City and bizarrely also Brighton.

The price-tag is $10m and Palermo only offered $8m over the summer, which is why the move fell through.
