“I hope this win can give these lads more awareness of their capabilities, because they are working well and should play with more confidence.

“We saw Godfred Donsah and Emanuele Giaccherini together for the first time, as they arrived late in the summer and then had injury problems.

“I hope this can be the turning point of the season, even though I know we’ll have to suffer to the very end. It is our duty to fight for safety.

“We still make too many naïve errors and those damage the view of the overall performances. We often play well and lose points for distractions.”
