Roma midfielder Daniele De Rossi has a thigh strain, but could reportedly return in time for the Inter match.
The Italian international was forced off during yesterday’s win over Fiorentina at Artemio Franchi, and had scans this afternoon.
According to Gazzetta dello Sport, the scans confirmed that De Rossi is suffering from a strained adductor muscle in his left thigh.
However, with the Giallorossi vice-captain suspended for the midweek fixture with Udinese, he may not miss any extra games with the injury.
Gazzetta reports that De Rossi could be available for the top-of-the-table clash with Inter at the weekend.
