Juventus Coach Max Allegri insists Gigi Buffon and Patrice Evra offered “constructive words” this week.
The Bianconeri were defeated by Sassuolo on Wednesday, with captain and goalkeeper Buffon had some harsh words in the aftermath, describing the performance as “simply unacceptable”.
Evra then joined-in, calling on his teammates to “respect the shirt”, but the Coach insists there is no division in the camp.
“They offered thoughts in a difficult time, constructive words,” Allegri told journalists in his Press conference ahead to the derby with Torino.
“These periods are part of the growth process, and we go forward with positivity, responsibility and understanding where we are.
“There is no regrouping needed within the squad, we have two or three good games and then get it wrong.
“With Sassuolo we had a good game defensively, but not up-front in the first half. In the second half I saw a good reaction, but right now we have an unusual trend.”
Daniele Rugani’s agent suggested this week that he may have to leave to get first-team football, is it harder to blood youngsters in a crisis?
“The team needs to find certainty, and slowly others will be included. We’re not working to integrate youngsters, we’re working to get results.
“The new players are playing, [Mario] Mandzukic played on Wednesday, [Sami] Khedira has played five games in a row.
“The team has to find certainties, there are no starters or reserves. There are times when we’ve had four 21-year-old lads on the field, but it’s not an excuse.
“Juventus need to have a lot more points on the board, but we shouldn’t let our heads drop. Tomorrow the referee will blow his whistle, and the ball will be there.”
Despite that, the Coach admits fans and media are right to criticise the team.
“Right now they're right to criticise. In football whoever wins is good, and that’s it. We have to improve the consistency of our results.
“The critics are right, because we have 12 points. We must improve the performances of the team.
“When I make certain choices, I make them because I think they’ll have a positive effect, but I don’t know will happen.”
