“If we’d got a positive result against Napoli and Roma, nobody could’ve complained. This group can challenge for the Scudetto right to the end.

“Nikola Kalinic will be the real revelation of this season, as his movements drive defenders crazy. As Giuseppe Rossi plays more and gets more minutes under his belt, he’ll rediscover his form and be the extra weapon for the second half of the season.
“Khouma Babacar and Federico Bernardeschi are great examples of how much the Fiorentina youth system has grown.”
Paulo Sousa was something of a mystery when appointed over the summer, but has impressed fans and media alike.
“I was fortunate enough to work with Vincenzo Montella’s squad and he wanted me by his side. This year the club appointed me to the youth academy.
“Sousa was very intelligent to insert his ideas into the group without completely transforming it.”
