Former Milan striker Andriy Shevchenko compares Carlo Ancelotti to Jose Mourinho and calls Sinisa MIhajlovic a ‘great Coach’.
The Ukrainian played under Ancelotti and Mourinho during his career and has weighed up their abilities after the Italian was linked to the Chelsea job should the Portuguese be fired.
“All Coaches are winners. They have similarities, but also differences,” he said to Marca.
“Ancelotti has a distinct personality. Carlo was a player, with a great career that Mourinho didn’t have.
“Carlo won a lot of trophies and then became a Coach and has won three Champions Leagues with two different teams.
“He’s a great Coach and a great person. The players have a great relationship with him. I did, personally.”
Shevchenko also gave current Rosssoneri boss MIhajlovic his stamp of approval after three consecutive wins.
“Mihajlovic is a great Coach and a good person,” he said.
“He knows what he’s doing, has a strong character and great experience.
“He never played for Milan but he played for Inter, so he knows the rivalry. He has the qualities you need to be Rossoneri Coach.”
