CSKA Moscow and Roma don’t want Seydou Doumbia, but West Ham United reportedly offer €22m for the striker.
The Ivory Coast international will turn 28 next month and had a very brief spell with the Giallorossi jersey last season.
Roma paid €15.4m to sign Doumbia in January, but sent him straight back to CSKA Moscow on loan over the summer.
He has rediscovered his form there, scoring 11 goals in just 17 competitive games, including three in four Champions League matches.
This week Roma confirmed CSKA Moscow don’t want to buy him outright and the Italians certainly do not intend on bringing him back to the Stadio Olimpico.
According to Sport Mediaset, West Ham United are ready to step in and solve the impasse by offering €22m to buy Doumbia in January.
He’d be at his first Premier League experience after spells in Africa, Japan, Switzerland, Russia and Italy.
