The Biancocelesti captain has been continuously linked with a move away from the Italian capital and Gazzetta dello Sport believes his future lies elsewhere.

The newspaper has reported today that it will be difficult for the Argentina international to reach an agreement with the Aquile and he could leave in the summer.

Biglia’s agent will reportedly arrive in Rome in the coming days, but Lazio President Claudio Lotito’s offer of €2.5m per season (€2.1m fixed and €400,000 of bonuses) is believed to be too distant from the €3.5m offered by Manchester United in the summer.

The paper believes that Lotito will accept no less than €30m for the playmaker and that there are several teams considering a bid.

As well as United, Liverpool and Madrid, La Liga side Valencia and the two Milan clubs are also thought to be monitoring the 29-year-old.
