Napoli President Aurelio De Laurentiis is willing to invest a large sum to prise Daniele Rugani from Juventus in January, say reports.
The former Empoli defender played every minute for the Tuscan side last season under now-Partenopei boss Maurizio Sarri, but is yet to play a single minute for the Bianconeri this term.
The Italy Under-21 international has been strongly linked with a move to the San Paolo, and Corriere dello Sport have written today that De Laurentiis wants to gift the centre-back to Sarri.
The newspaper believes he is ready to invest a major sum in signing the defender, but that Juve are currently looking to send him out on loan in January.
The Partenopei are said to have already contacted the Old Lady’s directors and will make a major effort for the 21-year-old in January.
