Inter goalkeeper Samir Handanovic announced his international retirement after Slovenia failed to qualify for Euro 2016.
His side was held 1-1 in the play-offs this evening, losing 3-1 on aggregate to Ukraine.
“All I can say is that I am done with the national team,” Handanovic told reporters.
The 31-year-old shot-stopper has been a senior international for 10 years, making his debut on November 17 2004.
He put together 79 caps for Slovenia.
