‘Milan closer to Juventus’

Ignazio Abate believes the gap between Juventus and Milan is “definitely smaller” this season.

The Rossoneri are currently two points ahead of the defending champions, and travel to Turin to face the Old Lady tomorrow.

“The gap? It’s definitely smaller compared to the past,” Montolivo stated in the pre-match Press conference.

“We’ve started on a new path with a new Coach [Sinisa Mihajlovic], we have a different perspective.

“They’ve lost important players, but we have to look at ourselves. We haven’t won for four years in Turin, so we go to Juventus Stadium with humility.

“We’ll try to play our game and bring home a positive result.”
