“Fiorentina are deservedly top of the table, because they play the best football in Italy right now. The lads know how important this game is and we must play it with our own strengths and characteristics.
“This is a special match and we will give everything to make our fans happy. Fiorentina keep possession better than anyone and never throw the ball away. We’re aware the Viola are solid and studied 10 of their games, but we certainly won’t just give up and defend.
“I like the way Paulo Sousa speaks about tactics and the overall approach to football. I think he enriches the environment for the Italian Coaches too. His style is very Portuguese-Spanish, an international profile.”
