Wojciech Szczesny said Roma “didn’t make it difficult for Barcelona” in a 6-1 defeat, but “it’s all in our hands.”

The Polish goalkeeper managed to parry a Neymar penalty, but Adriano scored on the rebound.

“You have to give them credit. We didn’t make it difficult, but sometimes you have to recognise the quality of the opposition,” the goalkeeper told Mediaset Premium.

“We’ll go to sleep tonight, we’ll wake up tomorrow and focus on the game with Atalanta. It’s a big game, we have to get three points. We have to keep going.”

The Giallorossi can still qualify with a win over BATE Borisov or even a draw if Bayer Leverkusen fail to beat Barcelona.

“We have one game left, we have to win and if we get the three points we qualify for the last 16. It’s all in our hands and that is the only positive from tonight, I think.”
