“The team played, worked hard and did not deserve to lose. This is a delicate moment, as we don’t get what we deserve.
“The results are painful right now, but the performances in recent games are not. I saw a hungry Lazio that fought and tried to take the initiative. Clearly, results also change your opinion of a team. If we had drawn, the verdict would’ve been better.
“Today we allowed so few chances and Empoli scored on the only genuine opportunity. We had many chances, but didn’t take them.
“In this situation a Coach has to work, motivate and choose the best way to get out of it. I believe in our work as a team and saw positive things today.
“There’s a lot of disappointment, the results are negative and the table proves it, but we certainly want to emerge from this delicate moment.”
