Before this result, Napoli had been unbeaten in 18 competitive games and were top of the table going into the weekend.
“There are many young players here and a few experienced figures, it’s a good mix and I try to assemble the best line-up possible based on their characteristics.
“I told the lads before the game that they should not think too much about Napoli and their quality. They have extraordinary players, yes, but we must focus on how we play and cause them problems.
“We managed it, even though at the end their undeniable quality was starting to emerge.”
