Paul Pogba said “it wasn’t our best performance” after Juventus were defeated in Sevilla. “We didn’t take our chances.”

The Bianconeri would’ve been top of their Champions League group with a point in Spain, but were beaten 1-0 by former teammate Fernando Llorente’s header.

This allowed Manchester City to overtake them in Group D, beating Borussia Monchengladbach 4-2.

“We tried hard for the victory, but did not take the chances that we created. The important thing is that we qualified,” Pogba told Mediaset Premium.

“There are 11 of us on the field and we all give 100 per cent to help each other out. We didn’t get a result tonight, but we did try to play our football.

“It wasn’t our best performance, but it wasn’t that bad either.”
