Lazio’s Santiago Gentiletti has asked sporting director Igli Tare to send him out on loan, according to reports.
The Argentine centre-back is believed to still be suffering from a knee injury he picked up last season, which ruled him out for eight months.
Il Tempo reports that the 30-year-old asked Tare in the last few days to let him try a new experience out on loan for six months.
The defender has received criticism for his performances so far this season and is believed to want a move to somewhere calmer where he can play with less pressure.
The newspaper says there has already been an offer from Frosinone, but that Empoli and Chievo are also following him.
Gentiletti has made 13 Serie A appearances for the Aquile this season, picking up seven yellow cards in the process.
