Inter’s search for a creative midfielder could take them to the Napoli bench and Mirko Valdifiori.
He shot to fame at Empoli last season, but despite following Coach Maurizio Sarri to the Stadio San Paolo, has struggled for playing time.
Now the Corriere dello Sport claims that Valdifiori could seek a loan spell elsewhere in January.
Inter are looking for someone who can bring creativity to their midfield and had been linked with an approach for New York City FC star Andrea Pirlo.
Valdifiori plays in a similar role and would be considerably cheaper than first choice Lucas Biglia of Lazio.
However, Napoli are not eager to reinforce a direct opponent for the Serie A title.
