“I was born a Milan supporter, then my brother went to play for the Milan youth academy and the passion for these Rossoneri colours only increased,” he told Sky Sport Italia.

“Now my dream is to win the Scudetto and hopefully lift the Champions League trophy for Milan. As a Rossoneri fan I watched the great champions do that and I’d love to imitate them one day.

“I left my hometown at the age of 14 and it wasn’t easy to leave behind friends and family. It was tough at the start, but I had to get used to it in order to follow my dreams.

“One of my dreams had been to see Buffon close up and I actually faced him as an opponent a month ago. When he hugged me at the final whistle of Juve-Milan, it really moved me. He complimented me and I think him so much for that.”
