Roberto Mancini laughed off questions about Ezequiel Lavezzi, confirming at least two young players will leave Inter in January.
The Coach spoke to FCInterNews.it after yesterday’s 1-0 friendly defeat to Paris Saint-Germain in Doha.
“At the moment there are five or six teams in Europe who are clearly stronger than us, but hopefully next year things will change.”
Much has been made of the Nerazzurri’s interest in PSG forward Lavezzi, who is out of contract in June, so did he get a chance to discuss his situation around this match?
“In all honesty, I haven’t seen Pocho,” smiled Mancini. “Will Lavezzi enter? Yes, he’ll enter the Paris Saint-Germain team bus.
“I think in January we will release some young players who need playing time, like Federico Dimarco and Assane Gnoukouri.
“As for the rest, there is nothing new and so far there hasn’t been any activity. We’ll see, it’s still only December.”
