Milan Bisevac’s agent confirms the Lyon defender is talking to Lazio - “we hope to close the deal as soon as possible”.
The 32-year-old has only played six times in Ligue 1 this season, but is nevertheless believed to be close to joining the Biancocelesti this month.
“There are talks, but it’s not yet done,” Bisevac’s agent, Mateja Kezman, told LaLazioSiamoNoi.
“There are still some situations we have to discuss, so we’ll see what happens. We’re still talking and negotiating, so anything could happen.
“We need to stay calm and see what the next two days bring. It can be finished in the next few days, Lazio need a defender, and as the hours have passed the deal is getting closer.
“We hope to close the deal as soon as possible, but until there’s complete agreement between the parties we can’t say too much.
“I can’t reveal the figures of the operation, but the clubs are working to find a solution which suits everyone.”
Kezman then talked up his client’s ability ahead of the potential move.
“He has experience, because he’s played in France for many years. Ligue 1 is a major League, a difficult competition, and it’s always good to go from here to Serie A.
“He’s a player who could be useful for Lazio, a big club and a destination any player would like. Physically he’s fine, he’s ready to play.”
