“The next two fixtures are both away and are complicated, but different,” said Allegri in his Press conference.

“Tomorrow we face a Sampdoria side that has the characteristics of its individual players, while Udinese are a completely different team. After a long run to catch up to the leaders, the next two games will mean a lot.

“As I said before, our objective this season is to reach the final six rounds either on top or close to the leaders. In that final sprint we can have our say.”

Allegri confirmed Andrea Barzagli is still unavailable, while Mario Mandzukic will have a fitness test today. Claudio Marchisio is suspended with Mario Lemina and Roberto Pereyra also injured.

“In attack, seeing as Mandzukic trained separately today, the doubt is between Simone Zaza and Alvaro Morata. They are both in good shape. Despite the fact he didn’t score on Wednesday against Verona, Morata played well both attacking and defending. He will certainly get back to scoring goals.

“The papers seem to say every day that if someone doesn’t start then he’s leaving. This is Juventus and Juventus must have excellent strength in depth in all three areas. Zaza is doing well because he scored some important goals and improved a lot.”
