The Giallorossi host Milan this evening and it could well be the tactician’s last game.

“Negativity is never useful, we need a positive attitude to get results, but we expect this atmosphere to add more motivation,” Baldissoni told Mediaset Premium.

“Roma do not have last chance saloons, we plan and evaluate based over an entire campaign. If things don’t go the way we want, we analyse the reasons and try to find solutions.

“Every match we are asked if Garcia’s future depends on this game. The results affect decisions for everyone, but we cannot be limited to just one game, it would be reductive. We have to analyse the overall work.

“We are more worried by the fragility of the side, as shown in Wednesday’s 3-3 draw with Chievo. We did well despite absentees, but were unable to hold on to a lead.

“This side shows uncertainty and isn’t determined enough compared to the quality it can count on.”

Baldissoni was asked about reported moves for Stephan El Shaarawy and Diego Perotti.

“I will not comment on the transfer market. There is certainly something we are examining. If there’s the chance of improving the team, we will take it.”
