The Italian international is on loan at Sevilla, with the Spanish club having the option to buy him outright.

However, it was yesterday reported that Sevilla were willing to allow the player to return to the Granata, and now Marca is reporting that Dortmund have agreed to the deal.

Sky Sport Italia and multiple Italian sources now claim a deal has been struck. It's a six-month loan for €850,000 with option to buy for a further €11m.

It’s thought that Die Schwarzgelben have not paid all of the instalments on the €18m deal which took Immobile to the Bundesliga, so would write those off in order to allow his return to Toro.

The 25-year-old was Capocannoniere in 2013-14 with Torino, but managed just three League goals for Dortmund last season, and only two in La Liga this term.
