Milan to spend big for Conte

Milan will reportedly offer Italy CT Antonio Conte €4m a season to take over as Coach in the summer.

Current Rossoneri boss Sinisa Mihajlovic is believed to be on his last legs, with failure to beat Carpi in the Coppa Italia tonight likely to end his tenure.

Gazzetta dello Sport writes today that Marcello Lippi is ready to take over until the end of the season should Miha be fired, and could then stay at the club in a different role.

Otherwise the paper believes that the Serbian will see out the season before handing the reins to Conte in the summer.

The San Siro giants have a €4m per season deal ready for the former Juventus Coach, as they will no longer have to pay Clarence Seedorf and Pippo Inzaghi’s wages at that point.

Conte is widely expected to leave the national team job after Euro 2016 in France.
