Reports suggest Lazio striker Miroslav Klose has decided to hang up his boots at the end of the season.
The 37-year-old has enjoyed a stellar career which has seen him lift the World Cup with Germany, the Coppa Italia with the Aquile and win two Bundesliga titles.
The striker is also the all-time top-scorer in World Cup history, surpassing Ronaldo with a goal against Brazil in 2014.
Today La Repubblica reports that Klose will retire this summer, to take up a youth coaching role with the German FA.
The newspaper reports that the veteran has rejected a number of offers to continue his career in MLS or China, and the Biancocelesti will be his last club.
Klose arrived in Rome in 2011, and has scored 56 goals in 149 appearances for Lazio, though he is yet to find the back of the net this term.
